Wyoming becomes one of a handful of states to crack down on bettors who harass athletes online or in person, announcing a plan to put such violators on an involuntary exclusion list that will deny them the opportunity to wager through legal sportsbooks.
Sports betting has been legal in Wyoming since 2021, the year in which it was formally legalized and launched on various mobile platforms.
While most states have established 21 as the minimum age for sports betting, Wyoming has set this standard at age 18, mirroring the minimum age for wagering on horses. Still, most sportsbooks have opted to voluntarily keep the 21+ standard in place. Sports betting in Wyoming is mobile-only, save for one retail sportsbook operated by the Northern Arapaho Tribe, and bettors must be physically located within state boundaries to legally wager.

For reasons involving integrity (match-fixing), there is no betting on Ukrainian Table Tennis matches in Wyoming. The state has considered banning prop bets on college athletes, but it has thus far declined to take that step.
